Boudoir photography-trendy, classy and beautiful

The latest trend for brides as a wedding gift to their husband-to-be is an album, a "black book" of sorts of sexy, beautiful photographs.. usually delivered on the wedding day to the groom as he gets ready for the wedding. These can be simple lingerie, couture, pin up, theme-oriented, etc. I am holding a long-awaited "boudoir marathon" on September 2nd.. i was injured and it put the shoot off for a month so I'm VERY excited as it's one of my favorite things to shoot!

Here comes the bride....! St. Augustine bound!

Gearin up today for a wedding tomorrow at the Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine.. I always love to go early before the wedding to explore and shoot the architecture and streets. I have an (unintentional) collection on my walls at home of artwork done in St. Augustine. I always seem to get interesting stuff from this ole town! love it

And we're crafty too!!

So Florida Beachside Weddings offers fully decorated beach wedding packages for destination weddings. Alot of those decorations are standard.. like the handmade bamboo canopy, fabrics, real-touch silk florals, and more.. But I like to try and add a unique and "original" touch for our couples.. or switch it up a bit for each wedding we do for our destination wedding couples.

Recently, we added a new color to our inventory. Some call it Burgandy, some call it wine... Sangria... Cranberry.. anyway.. you got the picture. Our bride had a little (flower) girl that she wanted me to make something special for that she could keep after.. so this is what I made for her. ..the one on the bottom is the "before' pic.. This was inspired by a past wedding basket my good friend Jill with Craft Brat made for a couple of ours Becky and Sean.. for their beach wedding in Melbourne Beach.

addicted to shootin.... pictures

I have been out of commission for a few weeks. I have to say, it's been like going through withdrawls not shooting. I shake... I itch.. I need to SHOOT! I'm very excited I am shooting my first wedding since the injury on Sunday. I'm still limping, but I'm ready to go!

I have used the time on my behind to edit, market and get caught up on my post production and business side of the job.... but my camera and I miss each other very much....!!! Thanks for reading..
